A cozy mid-summer collection of printables, stories, and quiet science.
July is for sparklers and flags, yes... but itâs also for curiosity, character, and those quiet âwhat ifâ moments.Â
This monthâs learning moments stretched across science, literature, history, and the stars. Below are the themes, tools, and gentle teaching moments I curated for July!
đ Enjoy each one... and happy Summer!
Mrs. Bettina
What does it mean to act with integrity, even when no oneâs watching? What does independence really ask of us?
Our summer walks led us to big questions: Are mushrooms a plant? Are squirrels and cats related?
July 20th marked the Moon Landing, so we spend some time admiring the Moon and night sky!
We honored Beatrix Potterâs birthday (July 28th)Â with a Kahoot, but also a conversation: what does it mean to follow your curiosity when others donât understand?
We didnât build a full unit for ice cream⌠but that didnât stop the questions. Why does it melt faster in metal bowls? Why does salt make it freeze quicker? It turns out, even a bowl of ice cream can lead to science, curiosity, and conversation.
July reminded us that learning doesnât have to be loud to be meaningful. Sometimes itâs a coloring page under a ceiling fan, a mushroom on a walk, or a late-night moonrise that sparks the biggest questions. Whether you tried one printable or built a full unit, I hope something here brought a little wonder into your world.
